The Ultimate Fighting Championship is coming to consoles, thanks to THQ.

The first game based on the renowned mixed martial arts sport, the Ultimate Fighting Championship has been announced for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Featuring the authentic atmosphere of the live event, UFC 2009 Undisputed is coming in spring 2009.

An explosive fighting game, Undisputed invites you to step into the Octagon and compete against the worlds most prominent mixed martial arts fighters. There will be over 80 ultimate fighters in the game. Accompanied by announcers, trainers, referees, commentators and, of course, the Octagon girls!

Undisputed is being built on a brand new fighting game engine, designed specifically for next generation systems. Featuring advanced AI, photo-realistic character models and an innovative control system. Feel every impact from the devastating punches and kicks delivered by the best mixed martial arts fighters in the world.
