V8 Supercars 2 To Arrive on PS2

Codemasters have confirmed that an advance edition of V8 Supercars 2 game is on its way to the Playstation 2 during October 2004. The new enhanced version for the PS2 will launch this October complete with online racing.
A new circuit in Catalunya will be exclusive to the PS2 as well as an expanded Championship structure allowing for an additional 99 car and track combinations. A new Pro-Sim Mode is for the hardcore racer for ultimate realism. Players will be able to save replays to gloat to friends and competitors.
Feature 35 powerful racing and street cars it will feature 33 championships covering 15 racing styles including V8 Supercars, DTM, Rally, Street, Formula Ford plus many others. Racing over 52 circuites racers should see some familar local race tracks in the mix including Surfers Paradise.
Built from the ground up by the Codemasters' TOCA development team the game is to run at a smooth 60 frames-per-second with up to 21 drivers on the track at the same time vying for a top finish. AI will be adaptive to suit your racing expertise and the AI drivers will hold their line and even try to out manoeuvre you for a victory.
If crashing is your forte expect to feel it due to a realistic damage engine and advance physics you will wish that you never met the wall. Damage too much and you will find your self a DNF.
