Video Coolroom comes to Xbox 360 for UK customers
Xbox 360

Microsoft has formed a partnership with pay per download site - www.coolroom.com. Now viewers in the UK will be able to download the latest movie and television series through either the Xbox 360, Microsoft Media Centre XP, or Windows Vista.
Xbox 360 owners will now have available a channel available off the Online Spotlight area of Xbox Live, where they can download the latest movies, and television service for one off download, or permanent storage for an affordable price.
This is the first retail offering or 'pay per download' service for the UK, after being available in the US through the Xbox Live Marketplace since last year. Rollout of similar partnerships with our media providers will most likely continue in other areas over the coming few months.
Sliced Comments: Great to see this take off in another reason, as this will soon be the future of entertainment. We speculate that negotiations may be taking place here in Australia. The largest, and most likely candidate may well be Bigpond movies (offering downloads for movies at around $AUD4-6 presently). Don't be surprised to see announcement here soon with at least one online partner for Xbox Live Australia.
