VideoEzy and Blockbuster to Roll Out PS3 Demos
PS3

In a move to promote both the Blu-ray format, and the Playstation 3 itself, Sony will be rolling out Sony 40" high-definition LCD and console displays to some 250 Video Ezy and BlockBuster stores (now owned by the same company) across the country.
While it seems small in itself, it should definitely help raise awareness of the PS3, and also the Blu-ray standard everytime Joe Consumer visits their local video store to buy a lower-resolution DVD. Apparently video stores here have become increasingly frustrated by the lack of support for HD-DVD in Australia, and it appears as if Sony is capitalising on the opportunity.
The move should help raise awareness of both the advantages of high definition as a movie format, and also for the Playstation 3 as an "all in one" entertainment system.
