Bioshock fans eager to get their hands on the game's sequel have been given a small glimpse at the title. The site, called There's Something In The Sea, showcases some interesting documents and pictures supposedly produced in the lead up to the events of Bioshock 2: Sea of Dreams, which is confirmed to be a prequel to the original game. The content in question should be quite familiar to anyone who's played Bioshock, but as for what it all means, we'll have to wait to find out.

Update: It seems the site is being constantly updated, new content has been appearing.

While personally I found BIoshock to be an over rated load of cr*p, it seems to have a fairly decent fan base. Should be interesting to see if the sequal lives up to the original - and if so, what kind of beast you'll need to run it on.

I loved the initial atmosphere, with all the tunnels and water and whatnot. That was great. I didn't like where the game went though, the gardeny maze thing, the later areas, etc. By the end I was bored.

I personally really enjoyed Bioshock (I played it on the 360), the graphics, the gameplay, the music, all are great imo. I really liked the twists in the story, with the whole "would you kindly" business. It's not the kind of game I'm usually interested in, so I was hesitant to give it a go, but I'm glad I did.

I just hated the era it was set in - never been a fan of that whole 1920s bit - which probably scewed my oppinion, while it was graphically pleasing, it just didn't make up for the boring game play.

20s? More like 40s-50s. I only played the first half before returning to a friend but I really enjoyed what I did play.

Steam is currently selling the game for $19.95, grab it if you have a capable PC.
