Weather and Opera for the Wii
Wii
20th December 2006, 9:51am

Two bits of Wii news for you today. First up, Opera Software has announced that a beta version of its Internet browser will be avaliable from December 22. In March next year, the browser will be completely free for a limited time (which ends in June), after which it'll cost you 500 points to buy it from the Wii Shop Channel.
Secondly, the Weather Channel has gone live here in Australia, so if you've got your Wii hooked up to your home's wireless network, you can check out the weather! There's plenty of info included in the channel, including UV index, wind speed and a five-day forecast, which is handy for planning the next few days that you'll be spending indoors with your Wii. *Wink!*
