Weekly Wrap Up 28/03 -03/04

Welcome to another weekly update, the fifth infact. Some big news this week, with price cuts, a heap of new reviews, big comps plus the latest in news. On another note Gamebiz has created our E3 forum where we want to know what your anticipating. This will pave the way for our indepth coverage of E3 later this year. So stay tuned. Lets take a look to see what has happened in the Gaming world and on Gamebiz in the last week.

Competitions

General News

Australian news first, and Aussie gamers are fortunate in that the xbox has had its price slashed from $299 to $249. This follows cuts across the board to xbox products including the recent Halo Elite Force pack, and several games are now more affordable. The Australian registrations have been opened for the ACON4 competition Queensland and NSW peeps still have time to show they are the best at Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Nintendo UK Gets Face Lift with an update to UKs official site.

Of course the xbox cuts in Australia were flowed from the decision in the US to cut prices. Eidos has signed up Highway 1 Productions which will be releasing an urban based action game with more details to be released at E3. Nintendo has released the Classic NES Games for Game Boy Advance SP

Demos & Trailers Galore

Couple of high profile demos this week and both Incidentally racing games. First off the rank is the a multiplayer Colin McRae Rally 04 game. The second racing game to hit the tracks is the highly anticipated game V8 Supercars 2 out in stores soon this should keep you occupied till then. Lastly we have a movie of Specnaz: Project Wolf. The other demo available is Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising Some brilliant demos and short movies were released last week.

This week there were a few new games announced the list comprises of: Two New Titles In Close Combat Series
Besieger Announced
Def Jam VENDETTA II Announced
Pacific Fighters was announced by Ubisoft. Meanwhile Ubisoft announced another instalment of The Settlers

Game Info

A range of information available on a variety of games this past week. We found out that EverQuest II will have 130+ hourse of dialog. Information released about the Camouflage Index in Metal Gear Solid 3. Beyond Divinity has been postponed on the back of community feedback so that they can release a solid product. Resident Evil Outbreak has been confirmed that it will be coming to the PS2. Further information about the publisher and control system of the Dungeon Lords game. Meanwhile a new air combat game is to be released next year named Pacific Storm. We have some massive amount of information on the game KOF: Maximum Impact available in our forum.
