Whiptail Interactives ECTS Lineup
22nd August 2003, 7:42pm
Whiptail Interactive, a global publisher of PC games, will premier its Q4 product releases for 2003 at ECTS, August 27-29, 2003 at Earls Court, London in stand #1970. A highlight of the stand will be the first look at Whiptail Interactive's new PC game - Gangland.
"ECTS is the perfect opportunity for Whiptail Interactive to make its entrance on the world's gaming stage," commented Fed Halslop, president of Whiptail Interactive. "I know that initial impressions are important and I have no doubt that between Gangland and Postal 2 Multiplayer we will certainly cause a stir."
Gangland
Blending real-time strategy, role-playing and simulation, Gangland takes players to the seedy underworld that lives on every street corner in Paradise City. Gangland features both single and multiplayer modes as players create their own criminal empire by whatever means necessary. Through 26 different challenges players will live out the life of the Godfather in this non-linear, event-driven environment. Extort, bribe, steal, kill, bootleg, set up gambling parlours, brothels and speak-easies, it is all part of Gangland. Developed by MediaMobsters, Gangland is anticipated to be released for PC in Q4 2003.
POSTAL 2 Multiplayer
The sequel to the famous (some would say infamous) POSTAL will be available soon in a multiplayer version. POSTAL 2 Multiplayer is filled with the same outrageousness, twisted black humour and no-holds-barred insanity as POSTAL, and puts players once again in the well-worn shoes of the hair-trigger Postal Dude. POSTAL 2 Multiplayer features open-ended 3D environments and innovative first person adventure action with over 100 unique NPC's including California gubernatorial candidate Gary Coleman. Utilizing Epic's Unreal Warfare Engine, POSTAL 2 Multiplayer is anticipated to be released for PC in Q4 2003.
Blade and Sword
Combining Diablo-like action elements and Street Fighter combats together, Blade and Sword blends computer Role-Playing and Action-RPG with amazing action and breath-holding martial arts from ancient China. This multiplayer game allows players to design up to five different combo attacks and features more than 30 levels. Developed by Pixel Studio, Blade and Sword is anticipated to be released for PC in Q4 2003.
RC Cars
The exciting action of R.C. Cars is coming to your PC! This arcade-racer style game has players driving an R/C car over off-road levels in real world settings. Within the race, players come across people, animals, cars and a variety of real-life obstacles and each track has its share of short cuts to explore. In Championship mode, players can upgrade cars and tracks by winning prize money. Developed by Creat Studio, R.C. Cars is anticipated to be released for PC in Q4 2003.
