Wii Flyin' Out the Door
Wii

Nintendo has sent along the figures for sales of the Wii in North America - according to them, over 600,000 consoles have been sold in the first eight days. The most popular game of the launch was The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, which has sold over 454,000, meaning that 3/4 people bought Zelda along with the hardware. Impressive. Nintendo's plan from here? To sell 4 million consoles worldwide by the end of the year.
In other Wii news, a report in the Wall Street Journal claimed that some gamers are finding the constant moving involved in some Wii games to be a little strenous. Some users are reporting joint pains, and others are saying that they're working up a hearty sweat while playing. Perrin Kaplan of Nintendo replied with that the Wii "was not meant to be a Jenny Craig supplement. If people are finding themselves sore, they may need to exercise more."
I'll have to agree there, Perrin.
