Wii Personalised and DS Connection

Shigeru Miyamoto, on a media roll, recently talked to Kotaku, the gaming blog. He admitted that the technology to support a link between the DS and Wii was built into the system, but Nintendo was uncertain how they wanted to use it just yet. Obviously possibilities include linking up for touch-screen or microphone support, and this sort of connectivity (without needing a pesky cable) could be a major selling point if handled properly.

Interestingly, Miyamoto also revealed that he hoped different Wiimotes could be 'attached' to different people. In other words, playing a game with your own controller affects the game's look, or settings depending on your preference.
