World of Warcraft Arena Season 4 Begins
PC

We may have been covering a fair bit of Blizzard news lately, but this one's a necessity. When you log in to your realm today you will notice a few things are different. People look different, smell different... That's because Season 2 gear is now available via honor points!
Season 4 Arena drastically changes the PVP gear setup. Season 1 gear is no longer available, Season 2 can be found where Season 1 was, and Season 3 is now available for cheaper Arena Points than yesterday.
The new Brutal Gladiator and Guardian Season 4 PVP sets have arena rating requirements, which means you can no longer noob your way to a new shoulder piece or weapon. Players must now actually be skilled to earn the latest and most powerful PVP items, which is sort of going back to where World of Warcraft PVP originated.
This from Blizzard:
Arena Season 4 has now officially begun, and players can immediately begin competing for the new Brutal Gladiator and Guardian PvP item sets. Players will now also be able to purchase Arena Season 2 items using the honor system. Please note that we have reset all Arena team and personal ratings, though players retain their Arena points and teams. The team and personal rating have simply been reset to the default 1500, allowing all teams to once again compete for top honors with a fresh start. Also, with the end of the third season, players on the top teams from each battlegroup will be receiving their end-of-season rewards approximately one week from today. These include Arena-specific titles that they can display proudly until the end of the new season, and, for the best of the best, an Armored Nether Drake.

I'm waiting for my new game card code to arrive in the e-mail =)
Looks like a great deal for hardcore players or those who are generally into PvP but not so sure about the rest ie casual players or those who aren't even interested in the PvP side of things,no offence to those who are btw.
If anything though I'll just probably noob my way to the season 2 gear if I'm really desperate enough to want it. (sarcasm btw)

Dash, you'd be happy to hear that in the final patch before the next expansion Alliance get access to a Kodo mount![]()

Sounds cool, but the idea of Alliance actually being able to get a Horde mount will no doubt pee off a lot of Hordies. lol
I'm not sure what the details on how to get one are but I'm sure that it can't be any worse than the Wintersaber mount quest that I'm still working on,even though the boredom is slowly starting to kill me.

Alliance can now get.. Raptor, Undead horse, Chocobo, and Kodo.. The only Horde mount Ally can't get is the Wolf.
Hordies are complaining, but the truth of the matter is.. Horde can get Tiger and Ram... Do they really want the other Human mounts?? A pathetic looking live horse, a robotic chicken thing, and a big fat elephant? Maybe the elephant, but really why would they want the other two mounts anyway. They'd use them like once and then be like.. yeah I'm going to use my AV wolf that I got for free.
