Xbox 360 Dashboard Update 7PM EST
Xbox 360

According to Major Nelson, who has fortunately been kind enough to the Xbox 360 community to bug the dashboard crew two or three times a day for the past few days, the "Spring" update will roll out on Xbox Live at 7PM Eastern Standard Time. That's 6:30PM for South Australians, etc.
The update will include a great amount of new features, such as Live Messenger where you can chat to people on your MSN list that don't have Xbox 360's, a new "Download" mode which will turn off all your fans and make the console run at a much quieter and safer level while it downloads the latest demos and trailers from the Online Marketplace, and an option to have the console turn itself off once all downloads are finished.
Also, the "Achievement Unlocked" message will now display exactly what achievement you unlocked, and how many points you have earned.
With many more features which can be viewed here, this Xbox 360 dashboard update is the largest yet. Still no word on that Forza 2 demo though.
