Xbox Games to Wireless
25th March 2004, 7:40am
Interesting news that we will be seeing some of the big titles on the xbox move onto mobile devices. The line up of games include Top Spin, RalliSport Challenge 2 and Amped 2. MGS signed a publishing agreement with Jamdat Mobile which will see these games published in several regions including Australia, on multiple wireless platforms. Expect these games to be released during 2Q-3Q of 2004.
Interesting news, I wonder this is how microsoft will break into the mobile market without the huge development cost of a mobile platform, although they do have their own smart phone. Through their windows mobile OS, they can get some of their big titles out, leaving a number of possibilities open. Feel free to chat about it in our forums.
