Xbox Live Vision details
Xbox 360
28th September 2006, 10:57am

- The Vision will also introduce Video chat and Photo messaging to the Live Gold Membership. Pretty standard.
- You'll be able to add a picture of yourself to your gamer tag. Reveal yourself to the world!
- 'Face-in-game' is making a comeback with the introduction of the Vision: games supporting this feature haven't been disclosed yet.
- Taking the route of the Sony EyeToy, the Vision will be used to sense motion and map itself to games appropriately. Once again, no titles have been revealed.
- And now for some technical states: 'VGA 640x480 resolution, video at 30FPS and still photos at 1.3 megapixels'. Not bad.
- The Vision will be available in two packages: The Xhox Live Vision and the Xbox Live Video Chat Gold Kit. The former will be a basic package, with the camera, a headset, a one month 'trial' subscription to the Live Gold Membership and two free downloads of Xbox Live Arcade titles. The latter will contain everything in the basic package, but will instead have a twelve month subscription to the Gold Membership and 200 Microsoft Points. They will retail for $39.99 and $79.99 (US), respectively.
