Yet Another Sims Expansion Announced

With the seemingly unending list of expansions the Sims 2 has received, those digital simulations probably have better lives than a lot of us. If not, then this will definately give them the edge: EA has announced another addition to the long line of Sims 2 expansions, with The Sims 2: Bon Voyage.

If you haven't already guessed, the focus of this expansion is holiday time. Your Sims now have the opportunity to tear it up on their "exotic travels", as they visit "the Far East, Rustic Mountaintops (and) even a Tropical Island".

Sims will be able to learn new things from their global jetsetting, such as new languages and customs which they'll then take back home to show off to their friends. You'll even be able to buy tacky (well, EA calls then "unique") souvenirs, just like a real tourist.

"The Sims 2 Bon Voyage brings so many new experiences and locations to the game, there’s almost no end to the surprises that fans and their Sims are going to discover as they travel to each of the three exotic travel destinations. It’s a perfect break from the everyday home routine!" said Vice President and Studio Head of The Sims Division, Rod Humble.

The Sims 2: Bon Voyage has currently only been announced for the PC and should be due out sometime in September.
